How does my kid sign in?
You invite your child by email from the parent dashboard. The first time they go to kidtask.ai and enter that email, we send a short numeric code to their inbox. They type the code in — no password, no clickable links.
What is Break It Down?
It's the heart of KidTask. Tap it on any task and the AI suggests 5–12 tiny steps to get started. If a step still feels too big, tap Break It Down on that step too.
How do stars and rewards work?
Kids earn stars for finishing tasks. Parents set reward levels (for example, “50 stars = pick the movie”). The app tracks the progress; you deliver the reward in real life. Stars have no monetary value.
Is it really free? Are there ads?
Yes, it's free, and there are no ads — not now and not in any future version. We never sell personal information.
How do I add it to my phone?
KidTask is a web app you can install. On iPhone, open kidtask.ai in Safari, tap the Share button, then “Add to Home Screen.” On Android, open it in Chrome and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen.”
How do I delete our data?
A parent can delete a single child profile or the entire family from parent settings. Deletion becomes permanent after a 7-day grace period, during which you can undo it.
